Zachary Pulak, a native of Winnipeg, MB began playing drums at 13. Immediately following high school he moved to Ottawa to study with Jonathan Wade and Kenneth Simpson (both of the National Arts Centre Orchestra) at the University of Ottawa. During this time Zachary played regularly with the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra as well as appearing with other fine ensembles such as Capital Brassworks, Ottawa Choral Society, The Chamber Players of Canada, the National Arts Centre Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. With Bangers and Smash Percussion Quartet he has played at the Prince Edward County Music Festival and the Music and Beyond Festival.

 

Having completed his Undergraduate degree this Spring Zachary Pulak plans on continuing to freelance in the Ottawa area while also beginning his Masters Degree at the University of Ottawa.
