Marie-Eve Lessard

Originally from Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Marie-Eve studied violin at Trois-Rivières Conservatory of Music and viola at the University of Montreal where she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Music Performance with Jutta Pucchammer-Sedillot.

 

Ms. Lessard has performed with various orchestras and ensembles in Canada and France, and toured through Asia, Europe and America. She has recorded world and Canadian premieres for CBC Radio and TV-France. She also performed in solo for the 2006 International Viola Congress held in Montreal.

 

Marie-Eve lives now in Stratford, Ontario. She is member of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, Montreal Contemporary Ensemble and also performs with the Orchestre Métropolitain in Montreal. In addition to her music, she is co-owner of the Thames River Paddling Club in St. Marys, and she is a youth worker with Stratford Children’s Services.
