Barbara is thrilled to be debuting SONG CYCLE written expressly for InnerChamber and solo voice by the composer-in-residence (and her husband ), Marek Norman. Barbara has been a member of the Stratford Festival appearing as Golde in FIDDLERON THE ROOF (2000), WANDERLUST, HENRY V, PATIENCE and recently the forum concert HOLD ON TO THE DREAM. Her selected credits include: ELEGIES, Mme. Thernardier/ LES MISERABLES, Mama Rose/GYPSY(The Arts Club), Penelope Pennywise/ URINETOWN (Jessie Award nomination), Maria Callas/ MASTERCLASS,   Norma Desmond/ SUNSET BOULEVARD(Livent),Charlotte/ LARRY’S PARTY, Mrs.Lovett/SWEENEY TODD. She has received seven Dora Award nominations for CLOSER THAN EVER, FORBIDDEN BROADWAY, CHUTZPAH A GO GO, SNAPPY TALES, ASSASSINS and A NEW BRAIN (The Musical Stage Co.)as well as a SAS award nomination for her multiple roles in MARY POPPINS. She co-produced, the original Canadian production of ASSASSINS which won five Doras including Best Production. She was a member of the legendary SECOND CITY Company, and co-founder of Reprise Concerts.
