Mark Uhre began his theatre training at The Theatre School in his home town of London, Ontario. Since graduating from the Guildford School of Acting, Uhre’s stage credits are extensive, including seven seasons at the Shaw Festival where he created the roles of Count Armando in the world premiere of the musical Maria Severa and Henrich Kloterjan in the world premiere of Tristan. Uhre played Enjolras in the 25th anniversary production of Les Misérables at the Princess of Wales Theatre, receiving a Dora nomination for outstanding male actor, then continued the role on Broadway. His Stratford Festival debut in 2017 was as Ralph Rackstraw in HMS Pinafore.
