Heather O’Neill’s book Daydreams of Angels brings us together for INNERchamber’s first ever book club concert. Guided by readings from Scott Wentworth and Marion Adler, the audience will connect with O’Neill’s work on a deeper level through an evocative soundtrack provided by the Factory Arts Ensemble. Book club enthusiasts can prepare for the evening by reading two of O'Neill's stories - The Gypsy and the Bear, and Bartok for Children – ahead of time. We are also encouraging audience participation in selecting the music for Book Club! Details below.
Audience advisory: The stories being used in Book Club contain mature subject matter.
Free Event
In addition to the evening event, Book Club is part of the national Culture Days celebration. We will be holding a free afternoon talk about the idea behind this concert, followed by a glimpse of an open rehearsal. Show up at Factory163 for a 3:30 pm start, as we get ready for the evening's festivities.
