For Shakespeare, music made bad things bearable and good things better. More than that, he tells us that when our “spirits are attentive” music has the power to change our nature. To mark 400 years since the Bard’s passing, actor Rod Beattie and soprano Sheila Dietrich join the Factory Arts Ensemble and Nota Bene Baroque Players to present moments in Shakespeare in which music provides the catalyst for change.
