In April 2018, oud maker Samir Azar, along with his wife, singer and artist Rouba Nazir Battikh, and their son, Jawad Azar arrived in Stratford from Syria. Their story and their search for home will form the basis for this concert that blends Arabic and Western classical music into a beautiful musical tapestry.
